Welcome To The Home Of Laura's Birthday Bike Ride

A team of 4 fundraisers, consisting of 2 teenage girls and 2 supporting adults, are cycling the 1020 miles from Lands End to John O’Groats. The team will be supported throughout the trip by a well equipped support vehicle carrying the heavier and non-essential equipment when in the saddle. The trip is planned to take 10 days and, during this time, we hope to raise money and awareness for the charity Malaria No More UK. As a group, we hope to average roughly 100 miles a day.

That's Not a Bike Ride - That's a Bike Ride!!

I thought of LE 2 JOG after watching Sports Relief and it 'seemed' like a good idea. Also, it's something that lots of people see or hear of but very few actually go out and do it, it's on my Bucket List!

I thought of Malaria No More UK because although I've raised money for charities in the UK, I have never contributed to a world-wide cause. Malaria is one of the biggest killers in Africa, a child dies every 45 seconds.  850,000 people are killed by malaria every year and it can be prevented by a simple mosquito net.
