As the brain behind this 'good' idea and leader of the team of 4; it should be interesting to say the least. Despite dreaming up wacky things to do for charities, I spend time doing as little sport that I can get away with.

Having done some training my massive hatred for hills still remains. I'm the most unsporty and unfit of the group and yet decided to push myself to my limits and do this amazing feat.

My only really trying activity is doing my D of E awards which should at least allow me to be comfortable camping over the 2 weeks.  Other than that, I do very little sport yet enjoying pushing myself to the limit.

After completing this I will have something to cross off my bucket list, next big thing is to climb Everest. I hope that by doing this event, awareness for one of the most preventable yet deadly diseases can be raised.

That's it really.

I joined the team because I thought it would be a great experience and I never thought I'll be able to do something like this.

I would like to think that I'm a very active girl and have been doing sports basically all my life from football to dance. I do a lot of endurance training in swimming (and I am hoping my training will help), I train up to six times a week, and do competitions most weekends. As well as swimming, I like to go sailing at the weekends. In the summer I work with a group of instructors to teach sailing. So really my life is based around sport.

Well my training has been a bit on and off due to having some injuries at the moment. I am bring myself slowly back into my training, to prevent from further injuries.

Only roped into this 'lark' because I was deemed responsible enough and daft enough to see it through to the end.  I've run marathons and did the Sport Relief run to school which contributed to Lauras' inspiration.

They know me too well.    I am quite stubborn when it comes to sport...

Most at home playing on the wing in rugby, as a forward in basketball or as a batsman/wicket keeper in cricket so this is something totally new but something I'm totally looking forward to!

Not so much the chaffing though...

The LE2JOG ride will form the middle section of my summer endurance challenge. In the last week of July I shall cycle from Cambridge to the French Alps to join a Triathlon training camp. After a couple of days recovering I’m hopping on a plane back, before heading down to deepest darkest Cornwall to meet up with the Land’s End team.

After this, two friends and I are taking our recently (and rather impulsively) bought Canadian Canoe to the source of the Thames, from where we attempt to paddle the entire length of the river. I’d normally spend my time doing Triathlons, so hopefully the biking element of the challenge won’t be too bad. I have little if no experience of long distance canoeing, but shall use the ferry trip on my way to France as preparation.

Leave the team a message!

Was asked to drive the support vehicle having done the same for the money raising run for Sport Relief.  Being a qualified First Aider may help (you should see me apply a plaster...) but yet to learn how to change a tyre - perhaps I should learn before we leave?

Am fairly sporty. I enjoy rugby and skiing and the odd leisurely bike ride. However, I'm more used to cheering on my son's rugby team so no injury that the LE2JOG team face should phase me... (I have got spare gum shields should they go over their handle bars though!!)

I'm very proud to be part of the team. Will do my absolute best to make life out the saddle as easy as possible for the cyclists... (I just hope they like my cooking!!)
